So I totally spammed you guys this week with review after review. SORRY! I’m trying to churn out all the reviews these days before I get back to school because maaaaan I am so behind schedule <.< Anyway, I promise there won’t be so many reviews after like, this week or something.
In other news, I am headed off to Tasmania this Saturday! I’ll be away for like 4 days but I’ll forever be on Twitter and I will have posts schedule so it’s like I was always here. I am INCREDIBLY excited–I heard the seafood is amazing down there and well, WHO DOESN’T LOVE SEAFOOD?
I’m currently trudging through Winterspell by Claire Legrand which is being a total pain, for some reason. I LOVED The Year of Shadows by her so I was hoping that this one would be just as fantastic *sad sigh*
I’ve also discovered recently that I have a huge load of review copies that I read but NEVER reviewed and I’m kinda freaking over that because there’s so many of them and I am still struggling to find a reason as to how in the world I forgot about reviewing them. I’ll probably compile a post with a whole wagon of mini reviews this week (and an INTL giveaway) so stay tuned, people.
*wipes forehead* *catches breath* So, that was another exam week. I didn’t even have a lot of tests but they were all pretty big, so I’m basically exhausted now. I’m afraid I also don’t have anything to tell you guys about this week, because studying for exams = no life WHATSOEVER. Seriously, I don’t think there’s anything I’ve done this week besides study, eat and sleep.
However, I’m done with the whole exam thing for a little while now, so I’m just going to enjoy the fact I don’t have to do anything right now (well… except that pile of homework but let’s ignore that for the moment). I also haven’t got any reading done because hahahahha I did NOT have the time. On Saturday I did finish my reread of A Mad, Wicked Folly which is glorious and everyone should read it. Then I promptly got into one of those moods where you look at your 200+ unread books and you’re just like “but I’ve got nothing to read!”.
I hope everyone had a lovely week, though 😀
Exam week one is over! And I only had one exam for it, but there was technical issues (it was for English, had to write two essays) with the computers which we were writing on. Since it’s worth 50 percent of my grade that was clearly super stressful. Ahhh. But at least it’s now over, and I only have two exams left. Gotta keep strong haha!
Besides that I been actually working a lot recently, which is odd because I went through a bit of cool off period after Christmas. Things are pretty much the same at the good old toys store haha. I’m super excited for Saturday though, one of the few days I won’t be working and my brithday. as I’ll be 18 and since I’m the oldest out of all of my friends, my work friends have agreed to take me clubbing. That should be an…. new experience. To say the least [;
I actually have been reading a bit more (yes, apparently I consider one and a half books more) this week which has been a nice way to relax.

So a while ago I found out that Rainbow Rowell, author of Fangirl is writing a story about our two favourite characters, Simon and Baz. Yes, it’s a love story and yes, it is a fantasy. Isn’t that amazing?! RAINBOW ROWELL. WRITING FANTASY. GLBT+ THEMES. SIMON AND BAZ. More info here, peeps. Excuse me as I go and do my happy dance.
Marie Rutkoski also revealed the title to the last book of The Winner’s Curse trilogy:
New on the Shelves
Mr. Kiss and Tell: Why yes, this is the second book to the Veronica Mars book series, and I am so freakishly excited about starting this! I am a murder mystery junkie, and you can always trust Rob Thomas to deliver, whether it be in motion picture form, or book form.
The Flywheel: I’ve never heard of this one before but it looks adorable and yay for diversity (LGBTQ themes)
The Scorpio Races, The Raven Boys and The Dream Thieves: I maaaaaay have broke my book buying ban JUST THIS ONCE for these babies. TSR was only $2.50 on the Scholastic website so how could I resist?
~Thank you Allen and Unwin Australia and Hardie Grant Australia!~
The Exiled Queen: With many, many thanks to Ellis <33
Dead to Me: Ahhhh, this one is super exciting. As a great lover of all things historical fiction and film noir, this one appears to be made for me. I received this for the official Dead to Me Tour, so many thanks for that.
And that was our week! Anything interesting in the mail for you guys?
