Hey guys! I have a very exciting cover reveal and giveaway to share with you guys today! I was a huge fan of Stolen Songbird and when I saw that I could participate in Hidden Huntress, the sequel’s cover reveal, I immediately took it up. If you haven’t already read Stolen Songbird, I really don’t know what to say, OTHER THAN READ IT. The Malediction trilogy is honestly shaping up to be one of my favorite fantasy series in YA.

And now I present to you… the cover of Hidden Huntress!

Hidden Huntress
by Danielle L. Jensen

Series: The Malediction Trilogy, #2

Publisher: Angry Robot

Genre: YA Fantasy

Release Date: June 2nd, 2015

Sometimes, one must accomplish the impossible.

Beneath the mountain, the king’s reign of tyranny is absolute; the one troll with the capacity to challenge him is imprisoned for treason. Cécile has escaped the darkness of Trollus, but she learns all too quickly that she is not beyond the reach of the king’s power. Or his manipulation.

Recovered from her injuries, she now lives with her mother in Trianon and graces the opera stage every night. But by day she searches for the witch who has eluded the trolls for five hundred years. Whether she succeeds or fails, the costs to those she cares about will be high.

To find Anushka, she must delve into magic that is both dark and deadly. But the witch is a clever creature. And Cécile might not just be the hunter. She might also be the hunted…

IT’S GORGEOUS! What do you guys think?

  1. I one-clicked Stolen Songbird recently because it’s on sale, and although I really like the latest cover in this series, it screams Steampunk instead of Fantasy, so I’m kinda confused at what the artist is going for. That being said, the author is Canadian! Thanks for the chance.

Isn’t the cover absolutely gorgeous??? I personally still prefer the first one since green is my second favorite color (blue FTW) but still! The second cover is giving the first cover a run for it’s money! On a side note, what is up with the fan??!?!?!? WHAT DOES THIS IMPLY? (Or am I reading too much into it?).

    Thanks for sharing, Lars!! <3

The cover is gorgeous~ It’s got darker colours so I was a little stunned at first. But once you take in the dress, the fan and the stage, you can’t help but keep staring at it 😉
