The second installment in the epic Starbound trilogy introduces a new pair of star-crossed lovers on two sides of a bloody war.

Jubilee Chase and Flynn Cormac should never have met.

Lee is captain of the forces sent to Avon to crush the terraformed planet's rebellious colonists, but she has her own reasons for hating the insurgents.

Rebellion is in Flynn's blood. Terraforming corporations make their fortune by recruiting colonists to make the inhospitable planets livable, with the promise of a better life for their children. But they never fulfilled their promise on Avon, and decades later, Flynn is leading the rebellion.

Desperate for any advantage in a bloody and unrelentingly war, Flynn does the only thing that makes sense when he and Lee cross paths: he returns to base with her as prisoner. But as his fellow rebels prepare to execute this tough-talking girl with nerves of steel, Flynn makes another choice that will change him forever. He and Lee escape the rebel base together, caught between two sides of a senseless war.

    I can’t see the artwork Larissa 🙁

You haven’t read it yet? Oh my, it’s glooooooooooorious! I loved it more than These Broken Stars. It was more dystopian and less space opera. The only thing missing was the banter, but it more than made up for it in intensity. Dammit for not living in the US, this giveaway is incredible isn’t it! I can’t wait to see if you’ve got it under your tree 😉

This one has been on my TBR for so long! I’m actually planning on buying it today so there might be a review up in a few weeks.
Three things I’m looking forward to in This Shattered World
    1) The glorious Tarver and Lilac cameo I’ve heard everyone talking about
    2) Jubilee and Chase look like some awesome and kick-butt characters.
    3) Just reading about a new world because Meagan and Amie take sooo much time developing their worlds. I’ve heard they even have a huge book full of information on all of the characters, history, setting, etc.

    THIS SHATTERED WORLD!!!

The covers for the books in this series is seriously gorgeous. <3 I never expected to like These Broken Stars as much as I did, but I enjoyed it, and may have even teared up at the ending, haha. So yup, I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel! It's out by now, so maybe I'll go get my hands on both TBS and TSW… (Yeah, right, the number of unread books on my shelf is terrifying. I can't buy a new book without feeling guilty for my old ones. D:)

    Thanks for sharing, Mel!
