YA Midnight Reads

Suspenseful and somewhat eerie, Kim Kane and Marion Roberts’ Cry Blue Murder was a uniquely told mystery thriller that follows two girls who bond a close friendship through a disappearance of a girl. I was immediately captivated by the synopsis and how creepy it sounded–a killer on the loose abducting school girls? Sounds pretty darn amazing, especially for the mystery lover that I am. Cry Blue Murder was told completely by emails, documents, newspaper articles, lists etc. This isn’t your typical novel. […]

WOW. I need a moment. Okay. The Infinite Sea is pure awesome and that’s all you really need to know before picking this book up. While I enjoyed The 5th Wave more, The Infinite Sea is definitely still one of the stronger science-fiction reads I’ve ever encountered. The Infinite Sea has it’s own different merits; and there were certain things that I liked more here, and some things that I started to like less. I found myself not loving Cassie as much […]

It’s really hard for me to review A Thousand Pieces of You because quite simply, I don’t really have anything to say about it. It was an okay read for me: nothing spectactular, but nothing awful either. A Thousand Pieces of You had an amazing premise and an amazing cover (serious cover love!), but I felt only part of that premise was delivered. Supposedly it is a story of a girl hunting her father’s killer through different dimensions, but that is only partly true. Elaborating on […]

Celine I’m about 167 cm tall, which, according to an online converter, is 5.4790026246667 feet. There you go. Larissa 5’6 woooo! […]

Everyone knows not to go into the swamp, they say that if you go in, you never come back. Yet later that day, while Sterling is outside underneath the hot beating sun, she see’s someone come out of the swamp, but it’s not her brother. It’s a girl and apparently her sister. Lenora May has always […]

This meme was created for YA Midnight Reads to showcase upcoming posts and hauls from over the past week ——— Latest Happenings Mel *insert 69 joke because really, someone has gotta say it* As you all know, The Blood of Olympus came out and it also happened to be the end of the world because honestly, what is life without more Percy Jackson books to look forward to? *sighs* School life has been okay to me so far.
