Latest Happenings

Hey guys! I’m all by myself for this week’s recap as Celine and Larissa decided to ditch me. Larissa’s on at road trip to Las Vegas and Celine’s in Rome and will be returning to us on Tuesday. I am expecting pictures of awesomeness and gelato.

Anyhoo, I was tagged to do The Book Blogger Test. I don’t normally do tags because I never have the time, but this one looks genuinely fun and I haven’t done one in ages. We Midnightians might do it all together, in fact 😀

BEA is coming up, and I am pretty much reeking in envy of all those who are going. But have fun! I cannot wait to see all the pictures on Twitter. (But between you and me, I will be crying because I want to be there. And of course, the only way to remedy that is by eating chocolate while watching chick-flicks. Got any recommendations? I feel like I’m running out of good movies.

PTAlive Sydney is happening guys! The one in Melbourne was absolutely amazing and you will be sorry if you miss out. Sign up here.

New on the Shelves

~Thank you eOne Australia, Bloomsbury Australia, Penguin Australia, Harlequin Australia and Scholastic Australia!~

Take Me On: Squeee! *pets book* I cannot wait to read this

Searching for Sky: I haven’t heard of this one before but I adore the finished cover for this. Might try it later this year as it was a unsolicited copy

Flirty Dancing: Also unsolicited. This one looks like a lot of fun.

Breakable: Yet another unsolicited. Everyone raves about Easy so I will try this one eventually.

8: The Last Thirteen: Aaaand you guessed it. This one is like the 5th book in a series so yeahnot going to bother. Especially since some of my bloggy friends have read it and disliked the series

Divergent Swag: What a HUGE surprise! The picture has a Divergent t-shirt, 6 chapter sampler, some wrist band (??) and a badge. Tres bien.

  4. Mel Mel Mel I really enjoyed Flirty Dancing. It’s definitely a book for light-heartedness and plain enjoyment, it’s not mind blowing literature, but I hope you enjoy it, and I’m jealous of you having Take Me On, hope you love that too! Film Recs, well, I’ve recently watched The Lego Movie and Pitch Perfect and both liked and loved them, so they’d be my current choices right now! You’re not alone about BEA, but I’m looking forward to all the blog posts afterwards from people. Great week! 😀

I got a package at the post office the other day which I haven’t picked up and I REALLY hope it’s Take Me On!

Eeeep Unbreakable! I really loved Easy, so I bought the US version to match my US Easy haha. I hope you enjoy it. It’s a bit darker since it’s NA.

I got Searching for Sky and Flirty Dancing too – I love both the unfinished and finished covers for Searching for Sky. The premise is so interesting I’ll probably read it too even though it’s unsolicited.

Yay for the Divergent swag 😀

Also thanks for the discussion post mention (:

    Happy reading hehe.
