What’s Been Happening Lately
Hey! This week was pretty exciting for YA Midnight Reads because we got a REDESIGN! We went for a lighter look, but tried to be true to its name simultaneously. I am in love with the colour scheme–it’s similar to the old one (purples and silvers) but much lighter and has a watercolour type of theme. I was a little sad to say goodbye to my boats but changes are always good. I made a post about the redesign here.
Talking about redesign, my bloggy friend, Emily @ Constellation Chronicles also got a redesign! In fact, it was her blog’s birthday! You all should go check out the new and fabulous look and wish her blog a happy first blogverse here 😀
I am no longer ill, but I think I passed my cold onto some other of my bloggy friends #sorrynotsorry *bats eyelashes innocently*
I am am hoping to attend 2 events over the school holidays! One is the PTALive Melbourne event. If you are participating, tell me and maybe we can meet up! This is where to RSVP. The other event is a Jessica Shirvington signing at Dymocks for her latest novel, Disruption. I think the details are somewhere on the HarperCollinsAUS Facebook page–but I don’t have a link. Sorry!
Also: Larissa won’t be around much for a few days because she’s going to Italy! Celine and I will be here, screaming in jealousy. She might do a recap though…so there’s that.
Updates for Finding Bliss in Books? None apart from old news. E.g: Ellis and I bullying each other and Blythe doing nothing about it. Ah…good times. Please note sarcasm.

Reviews on the Blog:
Origin: Received from a book trade with Amy. I have heard a lot about the author’s latest, so thought TIIS one would by really good.
The Assassin’s Blade: This is a pretty thick book for 5 novellas. Can’t wait to start this pretteh.
The Secret Diamond Sisters: So Larissa did not like this one all too much and the other reviews I’ve seen aren’t convincing at all. Will probably pass on this.
~Thank you Harlequin Australia, Bloomsbury Australia, Amy @ The Reading Realm and Penguin Australia!~
