What’s been happening lately…

Hola book people! How is everyone? These few weeks have been pretty slow in terms of bookish mail–THANK GOD. I have too many books right now, as much as I love hoarding all the books, I kinda need some more room. So right now, I’m in the middle of trading books. You might not think that that’s going to get rid of any books–since I’m just replacing them with other ones but it is allowing me to give books away that I have no intention of reading and at least own some that I want to actually read. Maybe after a few weeks, I’ll sell the rest. A few days ago, I posted a picture on Instagram and Twitter of one stash of books that I’m willing to trade. Here it is again.20140302-133827.jpg

I am willing to trade to any Australian citizen. I will be posting more piles of books over this week. It’s a first in, first serve policy so follow me on Insta (@melyamidnightreads) and Twitter (@melanie_ymr) to make sure you don’t miss out.

I’m currently reading Ask Again Later and I have to agree it’s such a cute read, I’m having so much fun, that I really don’t want the book to end. Also I totally added The Intern to my tbr after reading it’s similar to The Devil Wears Prada. I adored the book and the film. Also how cute is that cover to Looking For Alibrandi, I still need to read that book. I hope you enjoy all your reads Melanie!

Awesome haul this week Mel. I’m probably one of the few who hasn’t read Looking For Alibrandi, I haven’t seen the movie either. But that cover is adorable, much nicer than the previous versions I’ve seen. Wonder how they end up reaching ‘Classic’ Status, is it just based on the number of books sold?

I’ve seen all kinds of awesome reviews of The Intern, can’t wait to see what you think of it.
