Hey bibliophiles!

I’ve been blogging without really ever stopping for almost a year now, so I feel like I need to take a break for a while. I will still be on Twitter and Goodreads, I won’t stop reading, but I do need to catch some time and just step away from the computer for a week or so. This means I will not be posting reviews or discussion posts, or my book haul either. IΒ stillΒ am hosting the Under the Never Sky read-a-long and maybe make a few posts on Finding Bliss for that but I am just getting a little tired of writing reviews. Hopefully, when I come back I will be the same enthusiastic me!

I plan to come back on the 20th of November with a review of The Killing Woods by Lucy Christopher.

Talk soon!

  2. Enjoy your time away, Melanie! Aside from a week this summer, I’ve been doing this steadily for two years and two days exactly, so I know what it means to get a little tired. I do hope you’ll find your enthusiasm once again and come back soon with your wonderful reviews.

Have fun on your break, doll! Sometimes it’s fun to get a good breather. Mine is when I go to BEA – though I schedule posts in advance so it’s not a complete break but I still don’t have to think about blogging for a week and I find I’m kind of recharged when I get back πŸ™‚

I actually haven’t had a proper break since I started blogging a couple of years ago, so I’m excited for December-January, when I’m taking two months off internet. I’ll get so much reading done!

Glad you’re doing this for yourself! I’ve taken a break myself for the last 2 months because it got a little overwhelming for me coupled with study. I remember I started this as a hobby, and it’s important to not let the pressure of reviewing to ruin the joy of reading. Wishing you an amazing hiatus!
