midnight madness newsletter

I’ve decided to make up a blog post newsletter thingymajig which was inspired by Kimba’s The Sunday Post @ the Caffeinated Book Reviewer

This is a fornightly newsletter and will be posted usually on Sundays.

Overall:
School has just started again for me and so, unfortunately, that means less reading. I think I really live up to my blog’s title these days as I’ve been reading occasionally past midnight with the urge to finish some delicious reads. This is my first Midnight Madness Newsletter for y’all to spread my book lovingness and some news over the fornight.

Book of the Week:
Or should I say fortnight 😉 The Book of the Week can be anything from; my most anticipated new release, my favourite book I’ve read etc…

The House of Hades By Rick Riordan
This is my most anticipated book of 2013. It is the sequel to The Mark of Athena which I pratically screamed and cried about. My rant on The House of Hades can be found here. Over on Goodreads, I am getting rather annoyed that, fellow librarian(s) are/is adding the fanfiction cover of The House of Hades which really causes a lot of controversy to other Goodreaders, if you happen to be that someone or know who is doing it, please kindly ask to stop it. I recently just deleted it so it cannot be seen anymore.

Despite this, I am extremely fond of Rick Riordan’s books. His Greek, Roman and Egyptian books are stunners and I am almost qualified to go to a mental hospital at this rate. After The Mark of Athena, I was ruined. RUINED!!!

Ohmygod. I LOVE Rick Riordan since Percy Jackson and even more so with his Heroes of Olympus. It was all kinds of amazing – and hilarious – especially since that wtf cliffhanger in Son of Neptune and NOW??? Ugh. After The Mark of Athena I’m crawling with madness. I soo want The House of Hades now.. And.. wait.. OHMYGOD, that was a horrible DREEEEEAAAAM!! Wow, not enough that they’re already in Tartarus, huh? Now they’re breaking up?? If that is a case there’d be riot in hell.
